Almost every week I have a full schedule. Things I still have to do, things I would like to do, dates with friends, appointments for the assembly, sport dates. And so I don’t have a lot of time on my hands (like most people I guess). But today something happened: after work I was about to do nothing at all. I had no plan. The only thing I had to do was seeing what I was into. I stayed on the couch the whole night and though it doens’t sound very exciting to some, it was something pretty nice for me.
3 weken agoby mrsstilletto31 years later and here I am! Before the end of my birthday I just HAD to share this old picture with you. Today has been nice with breakfast in bed, sleeping in (in that order), relaxing, receiving great birthday cards (I LOVE MAIL), reading birthday wishes, getting cake, and enjoying time with family. Thank you for all the love I have received. And I am very grateful that I am yet again a little older. To be honest, I didn’t like the idea of turning 35. I felt as if I hadn’t accomplished just yet what I hoped for.
1 maand agoby mrsstillettoToday 5 years ago, husband and I went ‘in ondertrouw’, we gave our notice of marriage so to speak. We both made a celebration out of it, dressing up nicely to go to city hall. He in a perfect suit, I in my mom’s old wedding dress. And just looking back at these pictures makes me smile! I remember the officiant being surprised and happy with the big deal we made out of it, the nice warm weather ☀️ and people in the streets shouting well wishes at us. It is after all an administrative notice saying: hey, I am
