I am so bad in arranging flowers. I simply haven’t been born with that creative gen although I really would like to be able to do: making beautiful bouquets. Luckily you don’t need good genes, but just good pointers, like Joanna Goddard gave on her blog which were very useful. Like this it’s even possible to make a wonderful bouquet from the flowers of your local supermarket. How interesting! Check out her blogpost on this subject!
Ik ben zo slecht in het maken van boeketten. Ik ben nu eenmaal niet met dat creatieve gen geboren hoewel ik het zo graag zou willen: goed bloemschikken. Gelukkig is het niet altijd nodig, Joanna Goddard heeft op haar blog een paar goede tips staan waar je echt wat aan hebt. Zo kan je van de plaatselijke Albert Heijn een paar bloemen halen en een mooi boeket in huis neerzetten. Wat interessant! Ik raad het zeker aan om haar blogpost hierover eens te lezen!
1 maand agoby mrsstillettoScore! I had to have a new pair of jeans. The ones that I have been wearing for about 15+ years were torn, so I went thriftshopping. Guess what!? 2 new denims, in my size! (Believe me, it is highly unusual) And they were LESS then €4 each. Such a score! I also spotted great shoes, some that had never been worn or only once or twice (not my size though, pity). If you need something new, I highly recommend checking out your local vintage store or thriftshop. You might just find the perfect pair of jeans • • •
2 weken agoby mrsstillettoGood news! I have passed all my courses for my Masters degree. So now, on to the toughest part of being a student: finishing university. So, writing my master thesis. I have been writing for a while now and mostly my days consist of this: sitting at my table or at my desk and getting sh*t done. I usually write down my plans and goals for the day and try to stick to it. I have found that writing a schedule for the day (up to the breaks and lunch!) really help in staying focused.
