6 November – 21 Day Challenge
Yesterday I have started the 21 Day Challenge of Deepak Chopra and I have just had my first two lessons of meditation about abundance. I love to do it, to have some time for me (just 15 minutes to rest and think about abundance in your life) and I am looking forward to the upcoming 19 days. Lees verder

5 November – No telephone!
Last week I had to work the evening shift which basically means I am available 24/7. During the week I will be avaible from 16.30 up until 8 o’clock the next morning and during the weekend I really have the shift 24/7. Which normally means those weekends are filled with calls every 10 minutes on Lees verder
Not working late – Niet meer overwerken
I decided not to work late anymore. Or at least try to work less. Up until now I must admit my resolution really didn’t work out the way I wanted. I’d love to, but it’s simply impossible. My job varies a lot and we only know busy times. There’s just one time a year when it’s Lees verder

1 November – Kruidnoten
When summer ends the shops stock up on their treats for Sinterklaas. Here we celebrate Sinterklaas before Christmas. It’s a bit like Christmas but I have mentioned it before here. When the ‘Zwarte Pieten’ are coming with Sinterklaas they bounce on the door and throw candy inside the houses. Before going to bed little children Lees verder

A while ago the bike of my boyfriend has been stolen. And not only him but me as well were really upset! People who live in Amsterdam and read this might think to themselves: so what, that happens all the time over here – but you see: we had matching bikes. It sounds so nerdy Lees verder
